Kao USA Updates Voluntary Recall of Some Lots of Oribe Serene Scalp Densifying Shampoo in the U.S.
Kao USA Inc. (“Kao USA”) today has updated its previously announced voluntary recall of select lots of its Oribe Serene Scalp Densifying Shampoo (8.5 oz and 33.8 oz) to include one additional lot in the U.S. Following review of warehouse inventory records, Kao has determined that one of the previously identified, restricted lots was inadvertently shipped following initiation of the recall. Kao has not identified any new bacterial contamination.

Kao USA Inc. (“Kao USA”) today issued a voluntary recall of select lots of its Oribe Serene Scalp Densifying Shampoo (8.5 oz and 33.8 oz) in the U.S. and Canada due to the detection of Pluralibacter gergoviae bacteria.
