RiboX Therapeutics Receives U.S. FDA Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) Designation for RXRG001 for the Treatment of Radiation-Induced Xerostomia and Hyposalivation
RiboX Therapeutics (“RiboX”), a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering the discovery and development of fully engineered circular RNA (circRNA) therapeutics, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) designation to RXRG001 for the treatment of radiation-induced xerostomia (RIX) and hyposalivation. The designation was granted based on preliminary clinical evidence from the ongoing Phase 1/2a SPRINX-1 Study.
